If you are sick of cold tuna, change it up a little with this warm 'n melty, cheesy, crunchy bit of heaven.

INGREDIENTS

2 cans of salted tuna in water, drained
1 8 oz. can of sliced olives, drained
4 tbsp of mayonnaise
2 slices of bread
Couple handfuls of favorite grated cheese
An oven set to 350

METHOD

  1. First, make your tuna salad however you like it. I just combine drained tuna, olives and mayonnaise in a bowl and stir it up.
  2. Next, place a couple spoonfuls of your tuna salad on two pieces of bread.
  3. Top with a handful of grated cheese: cheddar would be best. I used the quatro formaggio blend from Trader Joe's which has parmesan, asiago, mozzarella and something else....?
  4. Then place these little puppies in the toaster oven or normal oven on 350 for about 5-8 minutes until the cheese melts and starts to brown a little. You know you got your bread nice and toasty!
  5. Enjoy...
